Andrew was born and raised in Miami, FL and graduated from Coral Gables High School and Florida State University. An avid spear fisher (free diver) and 1 handicap golfer, Andrew studied Entrepreneurship and Marketing at FSU, graduating with a BA. In college he was president of the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization (CEO), and owned a successful small business. Andrew was selected out of several thousand students to represent FSU in the National Collegiate Sales Competition held in Atlanta, GA. After receiving a job offer at the national collegiate sales competition, Andrew accepted a job with a wholesale lender in Atlanta, GA, lending wholesale lines to small banks. After some twists and turns in that industry, with the financial crash, Andrew took a leap of faith, to return to his passion for entrepreneurship. As CEO Andrew is responsible for day-to-day decision-making and driving the strategic direction of N-Plex Inc.
Richard was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. Richard, an active outdoor sporting enthusiast and accomplished musician, graduated from Appalachian State University with honors focusing on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Prior to launching BarEye, Richard gained valuable experience with sales and marketing management, both in the Promotional Product Industry (working exclusively with GlaxoSmithKline) and in Residential Real Estate. Richard also spent significant time in the hospitality industry, allowing him to provide industry insight from direct personal experience. In his role as COO, Richard leads N-Plex Inc.’s grass roots and media marketing campaigns, working closely with Andrew to determine day-to-day decision-making and the strategic direction of N-Plex Inc.
Three-time NFL Pro-Bowler and Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints middle linebacker, Jonathan is regarded as one of the most intelligent players in the NFL both on and off the field. Vilma was an Academic All American and won the 2001 National Championship with the University of Miami Hurricanes. He is an owner of Brother Jimmy’s BBQ and Foxhole Bar in Miami, along with being part owner of several other successful companies including the Source magazine. Jonathan is our largest investor and will contribute to many aspects of the business including marketing, sales, future capital raises and strategic direction of N-Plex Inc.
Owner of Thirdparty Labs, Rob is an award winning Web developer and known as one of the best back-end Web developers in the Research Triangle Park area. Rob has been building interactive websites since 1997, and has been involved in the development of applications for fortune 500 firms including FirstUnion/Wachovia, Cable & Wireless, DuPont, and GlaxoSmithKline. While Rob is a PHP/MySQL evangelist, he is fluent in most of todays (and yesterday's) programming languages.
This Privacy Statement ("Statement") describes the personal information we collect through our websites and mobile applications (the "Site"), and how we collect and use it. The terms "we", "us", and "N-Plex" refer to N-Plex! Inc., a North Carolina corporation.
Public content. You can contribute to the Site in a number of different ways, including checking in, writing reviews, uploading photos, participating in talk threads, sending compliments, filling out your public profile, and voting on other users' contributions. We may store these contributions (your "Public Content"), display them to other users, and use them for promotional purposes. Note that if you include personally identifiable information in your Public Content, it can be used and viewed by others. We are not responsible for the information you choose to include in your Public Content.
Messaging. The Site allows you to exchange messages with others using the messaging feature and email. We may store these messages in order to deliver them and allow you to manage them. The Site also allows you to send information from the Site to your phone via text message. In order to carry out these requests, we may log your phone number, your carrier, and the date and time that the message was processed. Your carrier may charge you for texts that you receive.
Location data. The Site can provide helpful information based on where you are. If you tell us where you are (e.g., by allowing your mobile device to send us your location), we may store and use that information to provide you with location-based information and advertising. If you want to deactivate this feature, you can either reinstall the application or deactivate GPS on your mobile device. The Site also allows you to tell other users where you are, if you choose.
Inviting friends. You can invite your friends to join the Site by providing their contact information, or by entering your log-in credentials to import your address book from other sites. We may store and use your friends' contact information to invite them to join and connect with you on the Site. Your friends will always have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving further emails from us.
Third party services. We allow you to access third party services, such as Facebook, to share your selected Public Content with those services, and import information about who you are connected with on those other services so you can connect with them on the Site. You can always opt out on your N-Plex account page. Some of those third party services may also provide us with information from your accounts there to enhance and personalize your use of this Site. For example, you can allow Facebook to tell us who your Facebook friends are so you can follow their activity on N-Plex. You can adjust your N-Plex privacy settings to block this feature, in which case we will delete the information that we receive from your accounts with those other services. Go here to learn more. For example, you can adjust your privacy setting on Facebook here to prevent your Facebook friends from sharing information about you from their Facebook accounts with N-Plex.
Activity and log data. We automatically store information related to your use of the Site, such as the pages you view on the Site, your browser type, IP address, the phone numbers and names of businesses that you call through the Site, requested URL, browser language, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. We use this type of information to administer the Site and provide the highest possible level of service to you. We also use this information in the aggregate to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the Site.
Feedback. You should feel free to give us feedback, register a complaint, or ask questions about the Site. We may store your communications, including any personal information you include in them, so that we can effectively respond to you.
Administration. We may use the information described above for routine administrative purposes, such as investigating abuses on the Site, responding to user inquiries and enforcing and applying our Terms of Service and Statement.
Data storage. We store data in the United States.
Credit Card Purchases. If you purchase business advertising or other N-Plex products and services online, we collect and store billing and credit card information. This information will only be shared with third parties who perform tasks (such as fulfilling orders and processing credit card payments) required to complete the purchase transaction. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using 128-bit secure socket layer technology (SSL).
Third party service providers. We may use third parties to provide technical and customer support, perform tracking and reporting functions, conduct quality assurance testing, perform payment processing and provide other services in connection with the Site. We may share information about you with them so that they can perform the services they are required to perform, but they are not permitted to use your personal information other than to provide the services requested by you.
Third party advertising. Third parties serve some of the ads on the Site. We do not send any individualized personal information to them, but they may have access to information that they obtain through cookies or that you share with them yourself. Aggregate information. Business transfers. We may share your information with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control that we may have now or in the future, in which case we will require them to honor this Statement. If another company acquires our company or all or substantially all of our assets, that company will possess your information, and will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Statement.
Investigations. We reserve the right to investigate abuses on the Site, and enforce and apply our Terms of Service and Statement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of bareye, including any bareye mobile applications and websites (the "Services"), and any videos, information, text, graphics, photos or other materials uploaded, downloaded or appearing on the Services (collectively referred to as "Content"). Your access to and use of the Services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We may modify or adapt your Content in order to transmit, display or distribute it over computer networks and in various media and/or make changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to any requirements or limitations of any networks, devices, services or media. For example, if you choose to share a photo through your connected Facebook account, we will adapt your Content so that it can be attached to a Facebook post.
You are responsible for your use of the Services, for any Content you provide, and for any consequences thereof, including the use of your Content by other users and our third party partners. You understand that your Content may be syndicated, broadcast, distributed, or published by our partners and if you do not have the right to submit Content for such use, it may subject you to liability. Bareye will not be responsible or liable for any use of your Content by bareye in accordance with these Terms. You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the rights granted herein to any Content that you submit.
We may suspend or terminate your accounts or cease providing you with all or part of the Services at any time for any reason, including, but not limited to, if we reasonably believe: (i) you have violated these Terms, (ii) you create risk or possible legal exposure for us; or (iii) our provision of the Services to you is no longer commercially viable. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you by the email address associated with your account or through the Services the next time you attempt to access your account.
In all such cases, the Terms shall terminate, including, without limitation, your license to use the Services, except that the following sections shall continue to apply: 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
Nothing in this section shall affect bareye's rights to change, limit or stop the provision of the Services without prior notice, as provided above in section 1.
